ASTRO sources low-carbon aluminum produced with hydroelectric power. The CO₂ emission factor is reduced from approximately 975 to 11, representing an approximately 98.9% reduction compared with conventional aluminum.

ASTRO's Changhua plant in Taiwan has installed a 499.40 kW solar PV system, ready for operation in May 2025. The system covers approximately 3,074 m² and is expected to generate 573,597 kWh of renewable electricity annually, reducing approximately 283.36 tCO₂e in its first year.

ASTRO manages greenhouse gas emissions through regular emissions inventories, reduction initiatives, and energy management. We have established a target to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 50% by 2030.
