From Vietnam to Europe: ASTRO TECH Builds a New Global Manufacturing Base
In response to rapid global market shifts, ASTRO is accelerating its international production expansion. The new Phu Chanh manufacturing factory, located in Vietnam, officially broke ground on June 10, 2025, and is scheduled to begin mass production in Q4 2026. This strategic milestone marks ASTRO’s next step toward smart manufacturing and sustainable development.
The Vietnam factory, covering 68,000 square meters, is dedicated to aluminum bicycle frame production, with an estimated annual capacity of 800,000 units. The project’s total investment of USD 30 million, including USD 20 million allocated to building an ESG-compliant factory that meets LEED green building standards, balancing energy efficiency with environmental responsibility. An additional USD 10 million is for advanced automation equipment to enhance production efficiency and industrial competitiveness.
The new factory will feature highly efficient automated production lines integrated with MES (Manufacturing Execution System), QCS (Quality Control System), and AI Smart Technologies. This enables a digitalized, energy-efficient, and highly flexible manufacturing process, achieving brand partners’ short lead times, higher quality, and more competitive products.
On the technical front, ASTRO will introduce a modular frame design platform compatible with leading systems including Bosch, Shimano, Yamaha, and others. This enhances integration efficiency and development flexibility. Combined with an integrated aluminum alloy process and high-efficiency coating technology, improving both product quality and structural performance, while optimizing mass production cost and lead time management.

From LEED-compliant green factory design to production processes aligned with ISO 14064-1 (GHG inventory) and ISO 14067 (carbon footprint), positively advancing energy conservation, carbon reduction, and the principles of circular economy, complying with our commitment to sustainable development.
